Cover designs, context book

Ok, s I thought it was about time I got the ball rolling on this, so this is some stuff I did over the weekend. I figured starting to dsign the thing would make it quite apparent where the gaps are in my context.

Here are some covers, they are based around the principal of 10 that I stated in the last post. I started with something quite complex and stripped it right down. I want this to be minimal and almost industrial in its precise focus. After a while I started utilising the copyright copytye idea of using rectangular blocks to simulate type in the letterpress blocks. I think this is the most effective, but I will get some feedback, because I also like the really stripped down designs too.
