OK so today was supposed to be the day we had the final amendments for the yearbook, ready to send to print tomorrow. Unfortunately Paul didn't give us those details today which means we're going to have to do a lot of last minute amendments tomorrow. This is difficult and I personally feel a little unfair. It seems that Paul, our liaison is unable to stick to any of the deadlines he gives us for things. I imagine he's busy, but at the same time he should be able to manage his time better in order to give us realistic timetabling and then we wouldn't be in the unfortunate situation we are now. The whole project feels a little compromised by their poor time management and it's beginning to grate on me.
The changes if this was a professional job, would involve extra charges, especially if they are this last minute. I feel if this was imposed on the fashion team, they would have made decisions more thoroughly and more quickly.
There's also a lack of communication between Paul and Sue. Sue seems to be notified about decisions very late in the day, and then we're told what we've been doing isn't to her taste. It means that things we think have been signed off, actually aren't signed off because we're only dealing with a middle man.
